This Canadian-based zine gives the reader a feeling of country life, even while they're in the city. In the first issue Sarah weaves photographs and a story of her time on an organic co-op over a background of fabrics. It's a thick little quarter-sized issue that I think is actually better than the second. It ends with some quick words on books she's been reading that I've heard are great. The second issue is taller yet thinner, with a brown cover and ribbon binding. This issue is clean typewritten and handwritten with many photographs and vintage images. It is not a single story like issue one, but is varied and more artistic. Sarah focuses on the differences between city and country life, school, being a fresh biologist, and zine work. Both issues are worth looking into, especially for only $1 each. She's on her way around America right now, but is still doing zine orders.
